A Story Baked Into Every Loaf
What began as a way to nourish our family has become a way to care for yours.

When we moved to Fort Mill, we were simply looking for a place to call home. What we found was something more - a vibrant, welcoming community that quickly felt like family.
Our journey started in our own kitchen. Our middle child was dealing with severe eczema, and we needed a better option than the bread we could find in stores. That led us to sourdough: naturally fermented, lower in gluten, and gut-friendly. What began as a personal pursuit to nourish our family quickly grew into something more.
Friends started asking for loaves. Then neighbors. Then their friends. With every bake, our home became a hub of warmth, sharing, and delicious smells. Inspired by the European bakeries we loved while traveling, we dreamed of bringing that experience to Fort Mill - a place where fresh bread is a daily staple, not a rare treat.
Today, Fort Mill Sourdough delivers to 11 porch locations across Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Indian Land, Rock Hill, Lancaster, and Pineville. We also partner with The Speckled Pear in downtown Fort Mill and offer home delivery through Farm Fresh Carolinas.
We bake using only organic flour and simple, real ingredients. Each loaf is handcrafted, slow-fermented, and baked fresh the morning of pickup.
Our process takes time because good bread deserves it. But it’s not just about the bread. It’s about what bread represents: care, nourishment, community, and home.
